About Smacktalker

Well, it sort of negates the point of this if I tell you too much about myself.  One thing is I want to be anonymous.  Not that you are likely to know me in real life, but you never know.  The other thing is I don’t want you to have too many preconceived notions about me, so that you don’t actually read what I write with an open mind.  You’ll think you know me if I start telling you what job I have and how old I am, and whether or not I have degrees, etc.  But you won’t really know me. And that is the point of this, to actually be able to express myself.  Not live up to a standard or someone’s expectations. But to tell you, whoever the hell you are, what I honestly think. Not that I expect you to care, but maybe I just want to be able to say my piece.

I think the surprise is that when we are honest and open – folk care. And sometimes respond in kind too.
